Multiple plastics put supermarket sushi amongst the worst plastic packaging offenders

Today’s article is very short and sweet.

Supermarket sushi packaging is a horrendous use of single-use plastics. The example pictured below from Asda (a major chain of stores in the UK) includes 7 different types of plastic, most of which is unrecyclable. Others are pretty similar.

Take action

Please – just don’t buy these.

We need to drastically reduce our use of plastic, and in that context these items are unacceptable and unethical.
